Welcome to my website! I’ll use this site to record any creative lessons or unique teaching ideas I’ve integrated into my own classroom. Occasionally I’ll link to my store on Teachers Pay Teachers, but my main efforts are focused on collaboration, creativity, and innovation in the English classroom, rather than making profits. I promise to make links to paid products as few as possible!

About Me:

That is me _)
This is me a few years ago in front of The Elephant House, a restaurant in Scotland. If you didn’t know, JK Rowling composed most of her first Harry Potter book here!

I am a high school English teacher at a private K-12 school in St. Paul, MN. Currently, I teach the sophomore English classes, British Literature, Shakespearean Literature, and AP English Literature, but I have experience with freshman English and other English electives as well. I’ve been teaching for 14 years and absolutely love it. I’ve found great success in my career and I want to share my love of teaching, plus some creative ideas I’ve formed so far, with anyone interested.

Personally, I am married and have three beautiful, wonderful, and very noisy children. I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and relaxing at our family cabin whenever possible.
